Silorin – Capsule

Silorin Antifibrotic Effect:

In response to fibrogenic influences, stellate hepatocytes proliferate (Increase rapidly in number) and transform into myofibroblasts responsible for the deposition of collagen fibers in the liver. Furthermore it acts not only on the cell membrane, but also on the nucleus, it increases protein synthesis by stimulating RNA polymerase (1) and the transcription of rRNA, This in an important step in the repair of cellular injury and is essential for restoring structural proteins and enzymes damaged by toxins.

Silorin as chemoprotective and anticancer agent:

The chemoprotective action of silymarin helps it inhibites the carcinogenic action of many chemicals. The incidence of urinary bladder neoplasms and preneoplastic lesions induced by N-butyl-N-(4-hydrabutyl) nitrosamine were significantly reduced. Silorin also reduce skin carcinogenesis induced by benzoyl peroxide.

Silorin Regenerate liver cells damaged by alcohol or drugs:

Silorin stimulates the regenerative ability of the liver to forrn new hepato-cyted by stimulating the synthesis of DNA & RNA as silorin has a steroid structure that prevents entrance of the xeiobiotics into the cell.

Silorin-Antioxidant Activity:

Silorin is a potent free radical scavenger which increases the cellular content of glutathione, that leads to the inhibition of lipid peroxidation. Silorin has potent antioxidant more than vitamin-E.
